Genesis Orwell Mencap is always grateful for the hard work and dedication of our staff. They are the foundation of the services that Genesis offers our customers whether that be activities for disabled adults, supported living in Ipswich, or helping service users transform second-hand bikes in Ipswich, the community of service users that we have here would not exist. Every day all our service users look forward to meeting support workers who give them the care and attention that they deserve. They have a range of incredible skills that contribute to Genesis and have given their all to improve on the skills they have with in house training. The quality of the services that our customers receive is all down to the wonderful staff that we have here.
Genesis decided to show our appreciation for members of staff at Genesis that have shown their loyalty to our charity by completing long service. We have staff that have been here for the amazing milestones of five years, ten years, fifteen years and even twenty-five years since the very inception of Genesis as a charity. Each and every one of them has been a huge asset to our company. Everyone that has completed these amazing milestones was invited to a long service ceremony where they would receive a pin badge designed to showcase how long they had been at Genesis.
Our Chief Exec Rob Hart and Registered Support Manager Sharn Manning were there to hand out the badges to show how much we value the staff that we have. We were very pleased at the turn out of all the staff that arrived. The feedback from staff was that it was a lovely reflection for them to look back on the time that they have had here at Genesis. To reflect on all the time they have offered Genesis, the memories made, and the massive impact they have all had on the lives of disabled adults in our local community. Our service users that once decided to find activities for disabled adults near me, have stayed for years and years due to the quality of the care staff have given to them. Every customer that has received quality wooden furniture and second-hand bikes in Ipswich has received these products due to the staff that have supported the service users to gain these skills and qualifications to do it. These pin badges were a symbol of how grateful we are for our staff at Genesis, as they put their all in to make sure every individual with disabilities that walks through our doors receives dignified care.
Genesis Orwell Mencap is still here after all these years due to the staff that have been here with us throughout it all. We hope every staff member that has hit this milestone is proud of how hard working and dedicated they are.
