Here at Genesis, we recruit people into our team very carefully. It’s not just about what skills and knowledge you have – it’s about who you are too, and throughout our recruitment process we’re looking to find out what you’re like as a person, and whether your values match ours. There are many ways you can volunteer your time, whether it’s assisting in our Green Bike Project, which teaches those with disabilities or disadvantages how to repair old donated bikes, helping out the Garden Furniture Workshop or maintaining the gardens, there is something for everyone in our volunteer programme!
Voluntary work requires time and commitment, but it can bring many rewards, such as new friends, satisfaction, confidence, and work experience.
